Mini Ramp Jam
This is an amateur skateboard competition that will take place on the Park's mini-ramp which is 26ft long and 4' to 5' tall. It is $10 to enter the competition and $5 for spectators. The street room will be open to skate during the contest. The mini ramp will only be open to competitors entered into the contest.
When: June 22, 2019 - Contest starts at 3:00pm. Younger age divisions will go first followed by the women's division, 16 and up and advanced. Doors open at 12:00pm.
Where: Q Skatepark, 1727 Stout Field East Drive, Indianapolis, IN 46241
Registration: Register at Q Skatepark prior to the event or starting at 12:00pm on Saturday, June 22nd. Event registration is $10 to enter the contest. All participants most complete a waiver or liability release. If a contestant is 17 years of age and under, forms must be co-signed by contestant's parent or legal guardian on site or be notarized. Forms are available at Qskatepark.com or on-site at the Park. If you already have a waiver on file with the Park, you will just need to pay and register for your division and pick up your bib number.
Divisions: 9 years of age and Under, 10-12, 13-15, 16 and up, Advance, Women
Competition Format: Participants will get 2-3 timed runs of 60 seconds. If the number of competitors is high for a division, we could move the run time to 45 seconds. A fall does NOT end your run. Participants will be placed in heats or 4-5 competitors based on the number of participants entered in the division. The top three in each division will receive gold/silver/bronze medals. Skate product and merchandise will also be awarded.
Judging: The judging panel will consist of a total of at least three (3) and up to five (5) judges selected by Q Skatepark. Depending on the number of competitors in each division we could narrow the field and cut to a second/third and finals.
