COVID 19 Statement

To our awesome supporters of the Park,

After discussing with city officials we will keep the park open until further notice but there will be changes to do so. Cleanliness and safety have always been a priority at the Park and we will take further actions based on the advice of city safety and health officials. They support us as they do for other small businesses like ours.

Changes to the schedule: (This is fluid and can change as information and restrictions change)

We will be implementing two (2) hour sessions with a maximum of 10 people on the course at one time. Parents with children that are minors can accompany the child but we are limiting to one (1) guardian. We will prohibit spectators coming to watch friends.

Weekday: 2:00pm – 4:00pm; 4:30pm – 6:30pm, 7:00pm – 9:30pm – Wednesday group lesson is canceled till further notice. You can schedule private lessons during the week.

Saturday: Group Lessons 9:45am Intermediate; 11:00am Beginner: Skaters will need to leave after the lesson is over. Open sessions: 1:00pm – 3:00pm; 3:30pm-5:30pm, 6:00pm – 8:00pm, 8:30pm – 10:30pm

Sunday: Group Lessons 11:00am (Beginner & Intermediate); Open sessions: 1:00pm – 3:00pm, 3:30pm – 5:30pm

It is recommended that you RSVP through Instagram or text at 317-498-5299. Just be aware that the maximum is ten. (We had four people all day Monday but rainy days there will be more demand).

The shop will stay open so you can grab and go. There will just be no congregating.

Safety

The basic COVID 19 rules apply (wash hands, stay home if you are not feeling well, don’t touch your face etc.). There are two sinks at the park to wash your hands. The limit is 10 for social distancing. We will continue to clean high traffic areas and touchpoints. The floor and ramps are cleaned daily with anti-bacterial. There is a half-hour between sessions to get people in and out and for cleaning purposes. We will be removing the water cooler. There is still access to water but we suggest you bring your own water bottle.

We are following advice of health officials so we do our best to maintain a safe environment while keeping a place to skate although different from our normal schedule. We appreciate your support and patience through this difficult time.
